Cool... we did that, hopefully it's remember where to look... though it was
working fine and suddenly stopped -- does FileMaker do this for any
particular reason, or does it just sometimes forget things, kind of like we
sometimes forget our keys.... ?

The scripts are actually housed in the Names file (and elsewhere I
believe).  What you may need to do is, after opening ebase, "show" FMP
where to find the Contacts file by running the Filemaker Open command
(in the FMP menu) and manually openning the Contacts file.  Make sure
the Contacts file is where it's supposed to be before doing this.  FMP
should remember where that file lives for the next time.
