Hello, Sorry but I have another dumb question - suppose I want to install the new kernel I have just compiled. I have run through all of the steps above and the dpkg command works fine. Now I have done this - how do I go about installing the package. I'm not sure if I should run a 'make install' or execute an apt-get install command. Thanks for all your help.
