I'm using an outdoor GPS antenna on my roof. It has worked fine.
mdbus -s org.freedesktop.Gypsy /org/freedesktop/Gypsy org.freedesktop.Gypsy.Device.GetFixStatus 3 This shows I have a fix for sure.
