I was just following up some threads about traceroute and
ipsec. Se below http://www.freeswan.org/freeswan_trees/freeswan-2.04/doc/HowTo.html#no_trace this caused me to look a bit further at ‘fastroute’
(is this available in pf, seems to be in mono). It seems that this could stop the ttl decrementing and maybe resolve the issue
described in the above article which is what I have been experiencing on tests. I know that this is only a cosmetic error, but it looks a
little ugly and I would really like to be rid of it. Regards Alan walters |
