In case you have a hub somewhere or a link that is not full duplex collisions are likely. Switches shouldn't cause collisions, hubs can do and with rising traffic the collisions will rise too.
The error you see is a broken trafficshaper configuration. Did you touch the config by hand? You should rerun the traffic shaper wizard to get a clean set again to start with. And also, make sure you are on the latest version (which RC1 atm).
