We don't support that type of setup. Nor would a bigger PC with more
interfaces actually solve your problem. FWIW, FreeBSD itself doesn't
really support what you want (although it might be possible to hack
using ng_eiface).

Hi everyone.

I have a cable connection. I can get up to 4 IP addresses via DHCP on this
line. I run pfSense on a WRAP with 3 Interfaces. One LAN, one for DMZ and
one WAN. It works great. Now I have two webservers in the DMZ. I'd like to
use port 80 with both of them. All howto's etc descript a similar setup with
virtual ip's but as far as I see this only works with fixed IP addresses. I
can only get them via DHCP. I do not want to select DHCP get an IP, change
to fix with the ip I got and do this several times to get new ip's.

Can I somehow create virtual interfaces which I then set to DHCP? The WRAP
box has only 3 nics and I cannot expand. I don't want to use a big loud
(compared to WRAP) pc with several nics.

In Linux I can use something like eth0:0, eth0:1 etc for virtual interfaces
which I can set independently from the main eth0 interface. I do not need
load balance or similar as its the same cable connection anyways.

Anyone knows a solution for my problem?

Regards,

Marc
