The following snippet includes the ONLY instance of <media> in my entire /conf/config.xml file (I removed the other already).
<wan> <if>fxp0</if> <mtu>1500</mtu> <media>100baseTX mediaopt full-duplex</media> <bandwidth>100</bandwidth> <bandwidthtype>Mb</bandwidthtype> <spoofmac>00:18:f3:3e:b2:e7</spoofmac> <blockpriv/> <blockbogons/> <use_rrd_gateway/> <disableftpproxy/> <ipaddr>dhcp</ipaddr> <dhcphostname>azprep.dyndns.info</dhcphostname> </wan> Yet the error remains. Please advise. There error you are seeing needs config.xml surgery. First backup your config.xml via the Backup/Restore area. Use diagnostics -> edit file to edit /conf/config.xml Locate <media>.....</media> that occurs twice inside one xml block. Or if you are in a hurry and just need to get back up delete every occurance of <media>....</media> Afterwards reboot the system. Hope this helps.
