But kill the previous session with ps waux | grep -i racoon .
Maybe it´s just a 2 phase timout!

IPSEC with shrewsoft has been working great and all of a sudden I
cant bring the tunnel up with the following log in pfsense.Nothing
has changed that I could point to

Thanks for the reply. It was actually a conflict between 2 different vpn
clients I had installed on my laptop.Even though its been working
without issue for months. Once I removed both and reinstalled shrewsoft
it appears to be working.
