Thanks for the suggestion, although I didn't try it in the end.

-> You need to set the bios power management mode to APM on the alix boards with VGA to be able to boot pfSense.


May I suggest putting this in the wiki somewhere ?

(I'm hitting my head against the wall right now for spending 2 weeks on trying to fix this and not trying that simple bios setting :-) )
