Hello,

I'm hitting a small bug, I guess:
while trying to get an AP working on PFSense (latest stable), I was unable to get it working, even while reading the (excellent) book on pfsense. After poking around in the configuration, I saw that I tried to have "Mai
hiME" as ESSID. I removed the space, and Voilà, AP is working.

Maybe there's some lack of quote in the generated configuration file for
hostapd ?

I don't have a 1.2.3 box with wireless handy, but SSIDs with spaces do
work on 2.0. May have been fixed since 1.2.3, not sure offhand.

Thank you for your answer. I guess I'll try the 2.0 - bug reports will be more usable for the team..

Cheers,

C.
