Hello List! I setup a vlan and am using dhcp-relay on my pfsense box. I cannot seem to setup a rule that will block the dhcp request. On the vlan with the dhcp server I have created a rule that blocks everything, any-any. But no matter what I do I cannot seem to stop the dhcp request coming from my workstation to the pfsense box and then being relayed to the dhcp server.
Am I missing something here that I don't understand or should this be blocking the broadcasts? vlanned workstation --> pfsense(dhcp-relay) --> dhcp server firewall rule on pfsense to deny everything asterisk across the board with a block rule. I want to start by blocking everything then slowly opening up each service one at a time but I cannot seem to block this. Dave
