Hello all.
Yesterday i decided to try PFSense 2.0 RC3 on our ADSL line.
It all looked good, i could import the old config from the 1.2.3 version
and it started up fine.
I did try if i could ping to the internet from my pc.
All looked good.
Then i tryed to load a website (freshports.org) it worked.!
So i was done .
The i get some phone calls, people good not load web pages, and some did
load partially.
I did some other test, and indeed, freshport.org, freshsource.org and
freebsd.org all loaded well, but other sites, like nu.nl and
mountainbike.nl did not load.
I could ping those site's by the way, so ping www.nu.nl worked fine
I looked in the firewall and i saw that a lot of drops came from my WAN
interface to the ADSL modem.
Putting back the old firewall pfsense 1.2.3 and all was fine again.
my config of the WAN is as follows
WAN PPTP.
WAN ip adres 10.0.0.100
Connect to 10.0.0.138, the ip address of the ADSL modem.
I see a lot of drops on 10.0.0.100 to 10.0.0138 and visa versa in the
firewall logs.
some show TCP, enght.
Could someone has an explanation for this!
