I'm the macports maintainer of pidgin and here is the
configure.args I use:
--disable-gtkspell --disable-screensaver --disable-sm --mandir=$
{prefix}/share/man --disable-perl
pidgin also has depend packages. They have to be installed prior to
compilation time.
They are:
port:gtk2 port:libao port:audiofile port:p5-xml-parser port:libxml2
After installing the depend packages and using the switches to
disable when configuring I still have some dependency conflicts left:
dpkg: afhankelijkheidsproblemen verhinderen de configuratie van gtk2-
engines:
gtk2-engines is afhankelijk van gtk+2 (>= 2.2.4-1); maar:
Pakket gtk+2 is nog niet geconfigureerd.
gtk2-engines is afhankelijk van pango1-xft2 (>= 1.2.5-1); maar:
Pakket pango1-xft2 is nog niet geconfigureerd.
/sw/bin/dpkg: fout bij afhandelen van gtk2-engines (--configure):
afhankelijkheidsproblemen - blijft ongeconfigureerd
dpkg: afhankelijkheidsproblemen verhinderen de configuratie van pango1:
pango1 is afhankelijk van pango1-xft2 (>= 1.2.1-25); maar:
Pakket pango1-xft2 is nog niet geconfigureerd.
/sw/bin/dpkg: fout bij afhandelen van pango1 (--configure):
afhankelijkheidsproblemen - blijft ongeconfigureerd
