It is true that Pidgin doesn't support invisibility on all protocols. However, MSN invisibility is working for me.
Invisibility on XMPP/Jabber (this is the protocol that Google Talk makes use of) is a bit more complicated. Invisibility on XMPP/Jabber is not part of the core protocol itself, but requires an extension protocol, and unfortunately, there are several different invisibility extensions to XMPP. In order to get invisibility to work, there needs to be one invisible extension that is supported by both the client and the server. Most clients and servers do only support one or a few of these extensions. Some don't support it at all. The Google Talk server for instance, only understands an invisibility extension of its own which is not supported by Pidgin. -------- Weitergeleitete Nachricht -------- Von: Joelias Júnior <joeliasjun...@gmail.com> An: Pidgin <support@pidgin.im> Betreff: problem invisible Datum: Sun, 31 May 2009 00:35:53 -0300 Hi people! I am brazilian. So, sorry if I wrong so much my english. I would like to ask one thing: I sure that pidgin can't apply the invisible for MSN, and GTALK. For other protocols I don't know yet. Someone here can say me something about this?? How can I use the invisible recurse???
