I've tried downloading Pidgin four times, including two old versions. I already
have a GTK+runtime program, so I didn't install that portion, but I changed
nothing else during the application process. Still, I even tried installing it
again once - and never to any avail. The installation process seems to go fine,
but as soon as I try to open the program I IMMEDIATELY receive an error message
saying that it has encountered a problem and needs to close. I haven't even
managed to get it open once.
I have had no other issues with programs on my computer, a 901 Eee PC running
Windows XP. There is more than adequate memory, etc.
