Now this is all the more reason I believe that any non official 'copy' of a mailing list should require each person on the list to opt-in. I for one opted out of having my messages be on Nabbles forum. So anyone reading Nabble's website won't see my posts.

But Colin has taken this to the extreme and obviously not understood what a mailing list is, and obviously hasn't read the message(s) he received upon joining said mailing list.

If you continue to receive such harassment from Colin, I'd suggest a polite call to the main number for his office?

Thank you Collin for apparently not understanding a simple concept such as this, and for not knowing how to spell.  I am unable to find one spelling/grammatical mistake in any of my emails that have been written/sent.  I have also refrained from using any profanities.

I do believe a call to your main office is in order.

I did not get the email address from that page so you are simply wrong. If you would have said that you did not work for the company in the beginning we could have avoided this entire waste of time. I am well aware of how to reply to all, thank you very much, but was purposely not copying the entire list as I did not want anything to be listed on the website.

 

In the future, spell check your emails if you want to look like you have higher than a grade school education and try not to be such a jackass.

It is in no way my fault that you failed to understand the repercussions of said mailing list.  You also emailed "[email protected]", which if you'd look, is NOT my email address.  I do NOT work for Pidgin.  Pidgin is an OpenSource Software project, and there are no "employees" of said entity, just contributors, developers, etc.

Again, I DO NOT have the ability to remove your messages from the archives.  This is NOT my issue, and I have provided more than enough evidence to this effect.

After this email I will cease to reply to ANY and ALL communication from you, unless you post it to the list of which you have a problem with, it's not difficult, just hit "Reply to All", instead of "Reply".

I simply emailed a PERSONAL EMAIL to the support staff of your company without any knowledge that this would be posted to the general public. I fully understand that your support emails are automatically posted to the internet now, however that was never disclosed to me at the start. I don’t believe that was the case as I emailed the support email listed and never posted anything to a public domain. You copied the support list on your replies and I did not respond to the list. If this was an oversight, I understand but please remove my email from the mailing list anyways. I don’t believe the emails will help anyone else as I was unable to install your program anyways. Thanks for your understanding on this matter.

With all due respect, I cannot comply with this request.  Do realize where these email originated from.  See the image on the right side of these emails.  These originated from the pidgin support mailing list, which I do not have control over, I just happened to reply to your email on it.

This is, in fact, your doing.  You posted your information to a PUBLIC mailing list yourself.  I have not posted your information publicly.

You are the only person who can prevent this, but not publishing YOUR information to a PUBLIC mailing list.
