If you had been using AIM, it is possible that this bug fix, in a
version (2.6.3) released just today, may have helped you, although the
announcement doesn't say what the symptoms would be, and I don't know
enough of the internals of AIM to be able to guess, myself:
* AIM and ICQ

RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam,
that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work.
