I believe what she is trying to do is send the same I'm message to everyone on 
her buddy list that is logged into their I'm account.

I seriously doubt if that's possible

You can't logon to Pidgin, and your buddies certainly cannot logon to 
your Pidgin.

Do you mean all the people known to your copy of Pidgin and currently 
logged onto a service to which you are currently logged on via that copy 
(although not saying that this is actually possible)?
