I am getting the same error with pidgin trying to log into my MSN account. The error is "Connection error from Notification server: Reading error". Pidigin continually kicks this error message to me everytime I try to log into MSN. I know my information is correct because I have check it several time and use it to log into my hotmail. From MSN.com I can log in just fine, so I know it's not my login information. I have never had this problem with pidgin before and I am using the latest version.
