I looked in the FAQ and while there was a seemingly related topic, I was unable to resolve my issue. I d/l Pidgin 2.7.0 today and tried to install it, and the first thing it did was give me an error: "Error Downloading the GTK+ Runtime: http://pidgin.im/win32/download_redir.php?version=2.7.0 <http://pidgin.im/win32/download_redir.php?version=2.7.0>k_version=2.16.6. 0&dl_pkg=gtk> >k_version=2.16.6.0&dl_pkg=gtk" It gives me the option to Retry or Cancel, but Retry consistently fails with the same message. If I Cancel, then the installation finishes, but Pidgin won't start because it is missing GTK+ Runtime. If I reinstall Pidgin 2.6.6 everything seems to work OK. Any ideas?
