I had to rollback as well, for the same reason. You can get the previous version here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/pidgin/files/Pidgin/2.6.6/pidgin-2.6.6-win32 -bin.zip/download. Just unzip and copy to the Program Files->Pidgin Directory, overwriting as necessary.
