Unfortunately, unsecured access is the only option. ICQ was recently split off from the AIM servers. Not all of the new ICQ servers support SSL. The only combinations of options that will work are: * clientLogin off and connection security set to "Don't use encryption" * clientLogin on and connection security set to "Don't use encryption" * clientLogin on and connection security set to "Use encryption if available" The combination of clientLogin and "Use encryption if available" is the default for new accounts and will work by using SSL where available and falling back to unsecured connections where necessary. We've been led to believe that eventually all the new ICQ servers will support SSL just as the AIM servers currently do. John
