It is unlikely, as Pidgin normally runs on Windows desktop OSes and on Unix and Linux. It is also designed for laptop upwards screen sizes. If you don't have development tools you are restricted to Windows NT family (up to Windows 7) and certain Linux distributions, in terms of versions on the official downloads site.

I believe there are multi-protocol instant messaging clients for smartphones and PDAs.

A look through the list archives should throw up some examples of such clients, as this is something of an FAQ, even if not an official one.
