Greetings support, This is a pretty low priority problem, basically people on facebook do not appear online with pidgin when they are online on the facebook webpage.
To the best of my googling I was unable to find an exact match to my problem.. The closest I found is in the following : http://code.google.com/p/pidgin-facebookchat/issues/detail?id=869. The main difference however is I am not using his plugin. I followed the steps here: http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=371950911048&comments. Hopefully this is the right place to email.
