Hello We are looking to automate Pidgin installation for approximately 250 users in a Windows based environment. We are using an opensource XMPP server which is working without any issues.
We would like to automate the installation as such where it already specifies the XMPP server that we use, and it prompts our users to login with the credentials we have provided to them. I was wondering what would need to be done for the XMPP server to be automatically specified on installation? Is this possible? Please let me know when you have a moment. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: Pidgin [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: March 5, 2013 14:55 Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Pidgin] #15542: Automate Pidgin Installation for Windows #15542: Automate Pidgin Installation for Windows ------------------------------------------+------------------------ Reporter: jgermano | Owner: deryni Type: task | Status: closed Milestone: | Component: XMPP Version: 2.10.7 | Resolution: duplicate Keywords: Automate Pidgin Installation | ------------------------------------------+------------------------ Changes (by datallah): * status: new => closed * resolution: => duplicate Comment: Closed as duplicate of #1910.[[BR]]This would be better addressed as an email to [email protected] rather than a ticket in the issue tracker. It is also a duplicate of another issue that has some basic direction on how to do this. -- Ticket URL: <https://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/15542#comment:1> Pidgin <http://pidgin.im> Pidgin _______________________________________________ [email protected] mailing list Want to unsubscribe?
