SSL Problem with XMPP on Ubuntu

Hello support people, 

thanks in advance for taking the time to help people like me. :)

I have a problem with SSL Certificates. 

When I try to connect to jabber.ccc.de with XMPP 

I get this message: 

"SSL peer presented an invalid certificate"

On the server there is a message regarding the issue, but 

I don't know how to follow the instruction: 

"Dieser Server verwendet ein SSL-Cert von CACert. Deren 

Root-Certs (ihr benötigt beide!) gibt es 

unterhttp://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=3

Benutzer von Pidgin benötigen evtl. dennoch noch das 

Cert vom Server selbst. Das erhaltet Ihr z.B. mit Hilfe von 

openssl: openssl s_client -connect jabberd.jabber.ccc.de:443 

(Den Text zwischen BEGIN CERTIFICATE und 

END CERTIFICATE kopieren und in eine eigene Datei 

speichern)"

Translated this means: 

"This server is using a certificate from CACert. 

Their Roots-Certs (you need both of them!) 

are available at http://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=3 

Pidgin users may require the certificate of the server itself. 

That you get for example using 

openssl: openssl s_client -connect jabberd.jabber.ccc.de:443"

I don't understand this. Googled for half an hour, but I don't 

have the time to read all of the SSL Specs. 

Please enlighten me if you know how I can get this 

problem resolved.
