I need to add a contact to pidgin, but it fails. Can’t find relevant entry on Pidgin FAQ nor Bug Tracking. Kind of important. This person is my boss. ([email protected]) Symptoms: - Contact name shows, but status is “Offline”…all the time. o She tells me she § is constantly using Pidgin § has attempted to add me but is getting errors - When I selecting “Get Info” on the grayed-out contact, Buddy Information / Info for window shows “Retrieving…” but does not return data. (see screen shot below) - Have removed, and added this contact twice. No changes to above symptoms
