Hey Michael,

We have DFS set up but pidgin is stored locally. I'm not sure what happened but 
when I attempted to set up the users again it worked without error.

Is any kind of non-standard file system used? A network file system, for 
example? Everything is stored in the folder "%APPDATA%\.purple", so if that 
gets deleted or altered, so do the accounts.
