Hello Support, We’reswitching from static passwords to Kerberos
SSO and having issues with RedHat. Windows and Mac OS work fine, butour RHEL
Pidgin 2.10.7 client with the SIPE (Office Communicator) plug-in won’tconnect.
Kerberos itself looks functional andwe see the ticket generated with klist. We
think we've tried all the possible client configurations and that something
might be different in Pidgin versus Lync for Mac, which works correctly using a
similar process. Does anyone have any ideas?
Basic tab:
Protocol: Office CommunicatorUsername: usern...@domain.gov (matches ticket
principal name)Login: Left blank (also tried username and domain\username,
which worked for static PW)
Password: Left blank
Advanced tab:
Server[:Port]: FQDN of Skype for Business poolConnection type: SSL/TLS (also
tried Auto; both worked for static PW)Authentication scheme: KerberosUse Single
Sign-On: checked Thank you, Justin
