Hi Bob,
It looks like the xmpp.jp <http://xmpp.jp> server isn't responding at the
moment when logging in. I'm getting the same spinning/timeout error. Unfortunately
there's not much that you can do other than wait for the server to come back, or add
a different XMPP account to Pidgin.
