*Position Title: SQL BI, SQL & .Net* *Location: East Hartford, CT* *Duration: 6 Month to 1 Year* *SUMMARY:* Our Client, the State of Connecticut, has asked us to help them find a qualified Software Engineering Consultant with a background in BI to work on assignment to the State of CT Judicial Department. The Judicial Branch Criminal application is used by the Magistrates, Clerks, Prosecutors, and Marshalls of the Connecticut Superior Courts to evaluate, judge, and process criminal and motor vehicle cases. The current legacy Criminal application is being converted from an OpenVMS (RMS) file system to a .NET Web application with a relational SQL Server 2012 database backend. The current system interfaces, reports and file transfers handled by the host VMS application, need to be developed for the new SQL Server 2012 application. This will require analysis of existing processes, interaction with business users to determine needs, modifications and new methods of sending and receiving information within the agency as well as across agencies. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Analyze the existing file structures and reports to determine and document the data items required for data going to and/or from the new relational SQL database. · Develop relational database systems using SQL Server 2005/2012 and SQL BI tools. · Develop the data processes to send, receive and report data using SQL SSIS packages, SQL Reporting services, FTP and VB.Net Web Services. *EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:* - 9+ years of experience in application and database design and programming. - 5+ years of overall experience with SQL Server; SQL Server 2012 experience a plus. - 3+ years of experience developing database objects: views, stored procedures, functions. - 2+ years of experience developing SSIS packages using SQL Server BI Tools. - 2+ years of experience developing advanced reports using SQL Server Reporting Services. - 3+ years of experience developing .NET web services. - 3+ years of experience using VSTS; knowledge of Visual Studio 2012 preferred. - Familiarity with or use of TFS. - Experience with Microsoft MVC framework (MVC 4.0 a plus). - 1+ years of experience with XML Schemas for data exchange. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. *Thanks®ards* *Prabhu* *SVK Systems, Inc. | IT Experts.* *Microsoft and Oracle certified partners* Direct: *678-824-7781* | Fax: 404 601 9507 E-Mail ID: *pra...@svksystems.com <pra...@svksystems.com> | *Web: www.svksystems.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SureIT" group.
