Please send suitable profiles. *Lead QA Tester/Analyst @ NYC - LONG TERM ( FACE TO FACE )* · Experienced application systems QA tester with end to end SDLC exposure, preferably in the *Financial Guarantee or insurance or fixed income financial industries.* Must be able to quickly learn new concepts and processes and work with data. · Able to recommend, implement and use test tools, and to implement QA test policies, best practices and procedures. · Knowledgeable and skilled in manual testing (e.g., Excel based) and in automating tests using VB Script, SQL, Excel macros, and/or Java Script. · Experienced with Team Foundation Server, Microsoft Test Manager or equivalent development/test tools. · Experienced with VB Script, Java Script, T-SQL, Excel, Macros · Must be a team player and be able to work independently. Must be self motivated, goals oriented, · Able to assist developers with improving user experience. · Experience creating and executing test plans, use cases, and test cases. · Experience testing web-based applications. *Additional Responsibilities* · Record and document results and compare to expected results. · Generate historical analysis of test results. · Provide application instructions for users. · Develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications. · Create meaningful error handling documentation for application developers. · Ensure compliance with QA test best practices, accepted web standards · Participate in application design and planning meetings. · Ensure data integrity standards. · Create a library of unit tests, use cases, and test cases for regression test purposes. *Education* College degree or equivalent.
