Hello everyone...
You may remember that many years ago Audio & Design Recording produced
an Ambisonic Mastering System, consisting of a decoder for B format and
UHJ; a Transcoder for stereo to UHJ coding; a B-format Converter for
encoding console groups to B format; and a Pan-Rotate unit used to
localise up to eight channels in B format. Notes on its use can be found
in this old article here: https://www.ambisonic.net/ambidvd.html and
here: https://www.ambisonic.net/ambimix.html and elsewhere on ambsonic.net
I have such a system - a combination of my personal system and items
from Nimbus - which in fact includes two transcoders. But I am never
going to use them again. As a result I would like the complete system to
go to a good home - free of charge! The only catch is that you have to
come to NE Scotland to get it - I am NOT shipping it! And I am not
splitting the system up.
The units have not been used for the last decade so they may or may not
work: they have been kept in dry garage conditions in a closed box.
Please drop me an email if you're interested.
