At first glance this may seem off-topic. But it really isn't, since
anyone reading it must be involved with the internet. There are a
whole bunch of people out there that think they know what internet
users want. Looking at the majority of the software available, and
many of the websites, it's clear to me that they don't know, or know
very little.
I need the help of anyone who reads or listens to this, who can take a
little time to think, and then send me a reply <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.
There are no "wrong" answers, no idea "too impossible" to mention, no
limits as to age, equipment, or anything else. Turn loose your
imagination, ignore everything that concerns cost and current technology.
Get carried away. Consider yourself part of a "think tank" where
there are no bad ideas or suggestions.
First, I want you to forget all about the software you currently use
on your computer to interface with the internet.
Next, I want you to imagine I've given you a magic wand, a wand you
can wave and have your internet wishes come true. With this wand
absolutely *nothing* is impossible, so close your eyes, wave the wand,
and think of what you want ... Tell me about it, single words or long
sentences -- spelling doesn't count against you -- and keep technical
terms to a minimum. I want to be able to *understand* the ideas! <G>

Now tell me about any limitations you think your computer system has,
or if you're using something other than a PC to interface with the
internet. Technical terms are *not* necessary; use your own words,
and tell me what you think, not what others have said unless it's
