On Friday, Ole Juul <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> typed: ] What I was refering to was that the idea of using "PII ] 350's with 64MB RAM running NT" is an inelegant way to do ] e-mail, especially if you then have to do a bunch of ] clicking just to (basically) view a whole file rather than ] part of it. This is certainly very clumsy! Indeed. I prefer my 486SX laptop with ARACHNE and PostHaste [well, PH needs more features...] than the schmozzle they call computers. :) ] So what I am saying is, yes, there is a better way. . . ] Use [insert name of decent program here] instead! <g> Well, thats a little hard. Only one lab uses Netscape [it also does OE] so I can't check email there and the other labs. The Netscape lab is really that CAD room, in the engineering building which is a fair walk from the main part of the campus... [And they're "only" 233 MMX computers] K block is near the carpark and more convienent. Only last week Outlook crashed and DELETED all my address book. And since everyone's email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED] its quite hard to remember most of them. Oh well, at least its safe from Melissa <g>. -- [- Hoody's Virtual Avenue: http://hoody.virtualave.net/ -] [-- Home of PostHaste, Arachne Webring plus lots more! --] [--- icq:30919770 and mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ---] And all the children are above average in our system. * PostHaste and Arachne To unsubscribe from SURVPC send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with unsubscribe SURVPC in the body of the message.
