Uhm... no way. The Embedded Linux project (ELKS - Embedded Linux Kernel Subset)
that will run on an 8086 is (I think) the project being referred to, and
currently it has very little in the way of programs available. It won't run
most Linux apps, and it won't run X because it needs a much higher spec AFAIK.
