Here might be the answer to someone one this list's question. Forgive me if it's already been posted. ------- Forwarded Message Follows ------- On 5 Mar 99 at 11:54, Dale Hoogeveen wrote: > Any suggestions where my sister can get DOS Twain drivers; so she can > download her new digital camera to her daughtrer's old DOS laptop? > Someone on the Arachen list has a collection of useful DOS programs > that has a DOS program that works with Canon (?) cameras. Arachne mailing list) There are two DOS programs that I know that work with digital cameras. CAMWORK http://members.tripod.com/~tawba/camwork.htm DOS program that downloads images from Agfa, Olympus and Epson digital cameras. A well written program that I use for my Epson digital camera PhotoPC software http://www.lightner.net/lightner/bruce/photopc/msdos/ppc_use.html Software for DOS and other OSes to control Epson, Agfa, Nikon digitial cameras Neither mentioned supporting a Canon camera, though. If the Canon supports the Sierra Imaging Chipset (which Epson, Agfa, Nikon do), then the software should work.
