This is a trojan horse which allows a hacker to alter
things on your machine. It is not a virus. An attacker
could get screen shots, alter files, or crash your system.
Basically it is a server and it does nothing unless you
are currently being attacked. It can apparently be removed
by restarting in DOS mode and simply deleting it.
Datafellows says you should do something like:
del c:\windows\system\exe~1
Sorry, I don't use windows and can't be more specific. For
more information go to one of the virus information sites
such as MacAfee or:
http://www.datafellows.com
Also, it can be removed with some antivirus software, but
DON'T use BOSniffer, as it is simply another trojan horse
which is meant to install the same BO server.
Cheers,
Ole Juul
