There's nothing wrong with Nettamer's as well as NetMail's PAP
negotiation - but there *is* a script, or more precisely the
NETMAIL.INI to edit, and without it there's no log-on.
PAP is done with the IAP (INet *ACCESS* Provider), i.e. the dial-in
server which then gets you to your I*S*P where your mailbox is.
These two are different servers (and mostly, different firms too);
IAP passwords are not necessarily the same as for the ISP/own_
mailbox (and can be changed individually too), and both have to be set
up somewhere. In this case in those INI lines.
With the zipped NETMAIL package there's a DOC file which explains
that, and the NETMAIL.INI contained there too is quite verbose as
well.
