this is what happened to my SurvPC's when we tested them for y2k 2 years
ago ... I guessed the BIOS's might be ''trainable'' so I entered the date
Jan. 1, 2000 in DOS two years ago and then tested them by setting the date
for Dec. 31, 1999 12:59:59p... they rolled over without a hitch after we
entered in DOS and exposed the BIOS to the date: Jan. 1, 2000... so on
Friday night there was no problem on the actual roll-over to Saturday Jan.
1, 2000.
