Normally when browsing via a shell account using Lynx hitting `d' in
Lynx will start a download. Once it's finished on the ISP side
Lynx would then go to its download screen and there should be an
option to download to your machine via zmodem or kermit (or it'll
start downloading as soon as the file is retrieved on their side).
The same applies to some of the free telnettable Lynx sites, too.

I don't know. Opera and Mosaic are probably out of the picture.
Arachne might be doable. But if you're able to use a browser on your
machine (i.e. you access Aztec via PPP dial-up) then I'd go with
DOS stuff and then use Bobcat (Lynx) or even Net-Tamer (not that the
browser is much to talk about).
BTW, what files are you looking for?
