As for myself, I also am doing OK as far as my personal resources are
concerned.  There are charitable organizations in my community who
could sure use the computers.  I would be most happy to receive Mary's
used computers and to set them up, and then turn them over to a bonafide
charity.  I would have the charity organization acknowledge receipt
of same as a donation, and then I would return the receipt to Mary.  She
would need written records of any donations for IRS accounting purposes.

In my community there is a thrift store that accepts donations for the
benefit of mentally handicapped and retarded children.  The thrift store
could either sell the computers and transfer the proceeds to a fund
established for the children's benefit, or, perhaps the computers could be
used directly to help some mentally handicapped children learn new skills.
Either directly or indirectly, the computers most certainly could be used
for the benefit of handicapped children.  I will check into this matter
further.
