In case anyone has had problems with my e-mail over the past few days, allow me to post this disturbing news item from my ISP; I hope its duplication over five different lists won't cause a problem -- I just want to be sure everyone is notified from these various servers. News: Hijacked Domain: Over the weekend, someone in Instanbul maliciously forged a change to our domain, imt.net, changing our routing information, in an attempt to steal our domain. Because of the way in which it was forged, the organization that manages our internet address, Network Solutions, was led to believe the change was valid and authorized it without having our actual permission. This has resulted in problems with IMT customers receiving mail. Many internet servers have the incorrect information stored in their databases, causing mail to bounce back to the sender. The routing information has been corrected with Network Solutions, however, it takes a while for this stored information to be updated, or propagated. This information is updated routinely by most internet service providers. There may be some continued mail problems for the next couple of days until the corrected information has been disseminated fully. Additional security measures have been put into place with Network Solutions to ensure that this does not happen again. --- Hopefully, everyone has received this notice normally. Thank you -- and sorry for the trouble!
