Real Player is available for Linux, I know it works with RedHat
6.1 on a Cyrix MediaGX 133 with 48M ram. I don't know what
the minimum requirements are.
With Win95 you should be able to do Real Audio with a
486DX66 and 8M of ram although 16M would be much better.
Again I don't know what the absolute minimum requirements
are, just what I have seen work. You'll want at least a 14.4K
modem, faster is better.
Windows Media Player also has internet radio. I'm listening to
Chicago Police radio as I type this.
Anyway internet radio will work with survivor class PCs that
are available for little or nothing in the USA.
