Bob: Your tag line speaks volumes! As you say fortunately for the folks who have the present crop of Surv-PC's Micro$oft's P-idea won't be an issue. However, three of four years from now the then Surv-PC's will be facing the fact their BIOS & peripherals will work with MS-P-deas & .NET operating systems and applications. So they will be pulled into the control from afar scenario which is what this is all about.
Because with every motherboard having an ID chip then you can be taxed without representation. Which is why those that continue keep their head firmly rooted ONLY in the past, will see their computers become unusable on the then controlled and for pay-only communications network.
