Yes, Palladium appears, to me anyway, as the biggest push
by MS yet to extend the monopoly stranglehold it has on
the PC marketplace...it's also interesting the co-conspirators
they have enlisted...such companies as Intel, AMD, Sun, and
IBM to name a few.  If Palladium is implemented, it could well
mean the end of the Internet as we know it.  It will become
owned and operated by MS and Company...it should make ALL
users of computers sit up and take notice.  But, I have this
sinking feeling that most will simply sign up and go on
about their merry way.  What's ironic is a list of "10 Rules"
about your computer that was published on another MS site:
The gist of which says that if you let ANYONE else run an
application on your computer, or use your web site, then
the computer or your website is no longer yours...but in fact
belongs to the other person.  That was in regards to the
recent spate of email OutLook Virus/Trojans...
