Day, Still not clear in my mind exactly what you want to do ...
BUT Arachne can be set up to view in 50x80 (I have mine set that way) >From within Arachne you can view any text file on your HDD or a floppy you stick in. You can then hit <shift>8 for asterisk, which clears all evidence of Arachne from your screen (except maybe a scroll bar on the right if the text is too long??) ... At that point you can hit Print Screen and Arachne will save the screen as a BMP file. You can then convert to whatever type file you want, and size it however you'd like -- depending upon the graphics software you have available.
