Hi Garry,

I guess my Athlon 1GHz is now a survpc. I'm still using a "true"
survpc, a P75 Toshiba laptop with 16MB ram and 800MB HDD. At
least it's a true survpc in that when I asked on a couple lists
about GPS map software, they laughed and thought I was crazy to
even try and use such a Fred Flintstone computer. Amazingly
enough Rand-McNally's Street Finder 2003? only requires a 486
and 16 MB and runs well enough on the Toshiba. Too bad there
isn't more software that will run on less than the latest
hardware. It does require 32 bit Windows of some flavor, I use
98SE.
