Does anyone use WindowMaker with SuSE 5.3? If so, has anyone
successfully compiled and used the sound server for WindowMaker -
wmsound0.9.0? I'm having the following problems getting it going.

The "make depend" part of the installation (invoked by "xmkmf -a")
yields the following error messages both in the "src" and in the "utils"
directory.

----------------------------------------------
gccmakedep  --   -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/include -I/usr/local/include
-I/usr/X11R6/include -Dlinux -D__i386__ -D_POSIX_SOURCE -D_BSD_SOURCE
-D_SVID_SOURCE -DX_LOCALE   -DFUNCPROTO=15 -DNARROWPROTO    -- wmsound.c
/bin/sh: -c: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `;'
/bin/sh: -c: line 1: `for flag in  ''; do  case "$flag" in *=*) ;;
*[ik]*) set +e;; esac; done; for i in ; do echo "depending" "in
src/$i...";  make -C $i    depend;  done'
make: *** [depend] Error 2
----------------------------------------------

The resulting binary crashes with a "Segmentation fault" message.

I am using SuSE 5.3, the 2.1.131 kernel, and WindowMaker0.20.1-3. Any
idea what the the problem could be? (I hope this is the right mailing
list for this question!)
