have you tried 'rxvt.xpm'? I think this is the version that comes with suse that can
display pixmaps. Look in /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults for the rxvt config file.

I seem to recall that not all version or rxvt can display pixmaps.
I prefer Eterm anyway....nice dropdown for choosing the background (or can
be transparent).
